Quantitative Analyst / Developer

A global leader in currency overlay investment management, with over $2 billion of assets under management, based in the IFSC centre in Dublin, is seeking a quantitative analyst to assist in the development and implementation of investment management systems.

Duties

The successful candidate will work with research analysts, portfolio managers and traders to identify robust solutions to complex currency management problems.

This is a hands-on role, where the successful candidate is expected to take full responsibility for the development, implementation and support of software applications.

The role is based in the systems group and will involve some day to day support duties in this area, in addition to the above responsibilities.

Qualification

The candidate will have a post graduate qualification (MSc, PhD) in a pure science (e.g. mathematics, statistics) from an internationally recognised institution.

Experience of Windows NT/2000, MS SQL Server. Visual Basic and C++ will be an advantage.
