wrong spelling on property title

Добрый день всем,
Неуверенна в каком разделе задать мой вопрос - так что пишу здесь.
Нужна помощь и совет, чтобы понять ситуацию.

Мы переводим наш mortgage из одного банка в другой.
При запросе to release title, оказалось что фамилия супруга имеет ошибку - wrong spelling .
Типа я - Сидорова, и ему тоже написали Сидорова.
Теперь, новый банк говорит что нам необходимо нанимать лоера, что бы исправить ошибку в имени .

You need a lawyer who can help you with transfer-in and fixing names on the title, for completing the transfer and refinance processes.
I am not 100% sure what really happened. It seems like a lawyer who helped you guys in the past did not register the title correctly.

Я так понимаю что эта процедура не 2 копейки, поэтому вопрос - действительно ли в такой ситуации необходим лоер, или все таки есть какой то более дешевый и проще путь просто убрать букву А, из фамилии супруга.
Нотариус тут никак??

In case of mistake (typo) in last name in the title, only lawyer or notary can fix mistake, or the person can come to the LTO and fix mistake himself?

Not only lawyer or notary, there are actually multiple ways of doing so. Depending where the mistake was made, but ultimately, we can't make correction without external request, so these are the methods where correction can be made.
1. Submit a Correction Request from myLTSA Enterprise Account
2. Call CSC to report the issue and handle the correction either by mail or in person.
3. If this is an internal error, then an internal correction request to fix the record. For example, the examiner made a typo.

т.е. вам надо позвонить в паблик кастомер сервис и спросить

В принципе, все как и должно быть - спросите саппорт вместо Каморки - саппорт лучше знает
