Да, Party Chief/Senior Party Chief = Field engineer=типа начальник полевой бригады. Может также быть crew chief

You must be in good condition, hold a valid drivers license, be able to work outdoors for extended periods and be willing to work out of town. Experience with conventional and GPS survey equipment, and valid certificates for operation of chain saws and Quads is an asset.

Crew Chief
Midwest is currently looking for Senior Crew Chiefs with a
minimum of three years experience in a similar role. The successful
candidates will be well versed in the technical operations of Total
Station and GPS technology. The applicants should be familiar with
all facets of oil field surveying including, but not limited to well site
surveys, pipeline surveys, and line locating. Applicants should be
prepared to work independently under extreme environmental
conditions.
