In 2015 she said she would no longer sing the hit because she no longer emotionally identified with the song, The Guardian reported.
'If I were to sing it just to please people, I wouldn’t be doing my job right, because my job is to be emotionally available. I’d be lying. You’d be getting a lie. My job is to give you honesty. I’m trained in honesty.'

A statement released by the Jehovah’s Witnesses headquarters in Brooklyn, N.Y., said the organization had no details “regarding his medical condition or the cause of his death.” It added, “We are saddened to hear about the death of Prince Rogers Nelson, who was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 2003. Prince found fulfillment as a Witness and in sharing his faith with others.”
