Если достаточно покрутится, завязать знакомства, иметь некий талант - можно хорошо обеспечить себя и иметь интересную работу. Лично мне вот 8-5 работы никогда не нравились, а в этой индустрии такого нету. Отдохнешь месяц, а потом две недели по 20 часов в день неизвестно где пахаешь, неизвестно что делаешь. Начинаешь одно, перерастает в другое, зовут в третье. Романтика. Такое затягивает. Я и в массовке был, и стил-фотографом трудился, и персонал ассистент продюсеру и даже свой скрипт в какой-то момент писал. По молодости очень интересно, затягивает - если еще и зарабатываешь прилично - то чтобы и нет?

Но далеко не для всех, да.

Synopsis / Special Note
PLEASE READ THIS AND THE ROLES CAREFULLY AS THIS IS NOT A TRADITIONAL CASTING!!! THANKS YOU!!! We are looking for regular, everyday kids who are good to highly competent for their age in the sports. The kids do not have to be actors...we want the real thing!! Please also suggest friends, relatives, neighbours kids! We will require self taped videos of some of the sports as proof. They would like to see a photo (just a snap shot of them on Mom's iphone is fine. (no professional photos!) and also self shot video on Mom's iPhone! or Dad's, or a friend's, or theirs, etc. The kids must have their own equipment to use if booked for the role.

ASIAN FEMALE FIGURE SKATER 6 - 10 YEARS
Asian female figure skater, 6 - 10 years old. Must be highly competent for their age! In the spot they need to be able to do a spin or a type of jump. It does not have to be perfect, but they must be able to do it! They must be very good at their sport for their age. Please email us a self snap shot and also a self shot video clip of them doing a jump / and or spin. (approx 30 seconds worth of footage is enough) Send with their name and sport: Skating.

MALE SKIER 6 - 10 YEARS CAUCASIAN OR BLACK
CAUCASIAN OR BLACK (mixed is good too!) , Male, downhill skier. 6 - 10 years. Must be competent for their age. In the spot they need to be able to down hill ski and be good! (so top skiers for their age range) If they race, great! please denote this, but is not mandatory, as long as they are good for their age, that is good! Please email us a self snap shot and also a self shot video clip (approx 30 seconds worth of footage is enough) If you don't have video yet, just a snap shot to start, and then see if they can go up the mountain this week and get some footage! We don't need too much only 30 seconds is enough. Send with their name and sport , Skiing)

MALE AND FEMALE CURLERS 12 - 16 YEARS ALL ETHNICIT

"Ribnecks" This HILARIOUS spot directed by the PERLORIAN BROTHERS is sure to get some attention! Send us your weird and crazy types. Please read full script. We open on The Boston Pizza Rib Truck parked outside a rural southern family home serving Bostons Pizza's new ribs to the locals. We see a large extended "ribneck" Family (kids, dad, mom, aunts, uncle, grandparents) in their yard trying some perfectly sauced Boston Pizza Ribs. The Ribneck Father takes a bite of his ribs and is truly impressed. We then see different family members trying to ribs and then proclaiming with excitement that these ribs make them wanna do things like: ride in a dump truck tire, shoot a bow and arrow, wear short pants, wrestle with a wheelbarrow.

“A Sister’s Nightmare” starts shooting up in Kelowna/Penticton (more specifically in Summerland). They start next week and looking for folks that LIVE up there to be hired as LOCALS. So just wondering if any of you have friends up there that might be interested in working on a movie set. Might be fun for those that haven’t experienced it before. Rate is likely the usual 11.73 / hour. If you know of anyone up there that might be willing have them send us the usual (current candid picture (head and shoulders), basic stats (height, weight, jacket, chest, waist, hips, shoe, dress size). I know they need some moms and kids, as well as some regular folks, and cops. NO beards, NO facial hair.

Hi Everyone,

We are currently searching for a baby girl, aged 7-12 months. That means birth date between JULY 2012 AND JANUARY 2013. The girl should not yet be walking, crawling ONLY.

Shoot dates are Monday July 29, 30, and Aug.12,13,14. Pay rate is SAE which works out to ~200/day.

Please be aware that there will be a specific shot needed where the little girl will put a gummy worm in her mouth and take it out, as if she had been playing and found a real bug. Not uncommon for children to put everything in their mouths, but please be comfortable with that when replying.

Please reply with picture, birth date and contact information.

3 x circus performers. Any exciting types - gymnasts/contortionists - fire eaters - stilt walkers, awesome jugglers - real skills required.....
Also we are looking for REAL authentic motor Bikers leather etc - they need to ride and have their own bike. We have a lead but we need 4 total and if you have any likely candidates we would have a look at those too. ($50 rental for bike and gear)

The Motion Picture Studio Production Technicians, IATSE Local 891, is currently seeking qualified and experienced carpenters, carpenters helpers, greens-people and set dressers for temporary work opportunities on union film and television productions.

Interested people are requested to complete permittee applications and submit them together with a current resume and copies of relevant tickets to our union office as soon as possible. The application fee for Construction, Greens and Set Decorating classifications has been waived until close of business, Friday August 9th, 2013.
