Since May 1st, we've already cycled a collective 40,377 kms and 387 new cyclists have signed up! And this is just the start! We have 50 Commuter Stations, friendly mechanics, and thousands of dollars in prizes coming your way!

Demystify Your Bike: Basic Maintenance
Learn how to clean and oil your bike, check brakes and gears, and fix the dreaded flat tire (it's not really such a big deal after all), and more!

Streetwise Cycling Courses are fun, hands-on half-day courses for anyone who'd like to be more comfortable riding in traffic. Through in class and on the road training, you'll learn about the safest place on the road to ride, how to maneuver your bike effectively, communicate with other road users, handle riding at night and in the rain, and more. All Streetwise Cycling Courses in Vancouver are only $20 thanks to the generous support of the City of Vancouver!

Encourage Cycling At Your Workplace
Here are some things your workplace or business could do during the Spring Bike to Work Week count-down:
1. Book a HUB Workplace Cycling Workshop!
These interactive cycling workshops are great for team-building and helping your organization promote health and sustainability in one go. Get your staff excited and prepared to cycle to work with these popular workshops!
We recommend giving one of these workshops a try:
Biking to Work: A Lunch-Hour Primer - tips and tricks for new riders as well as useful information for those who already bike to work. It covers discussions on bike safety scenarios, take bikes on transit, route planning, what to wear/carry, etc. Bike maps & other resources will also be provided to all participants.
Demystifying Your Bike: Beginner Bike Maintenance - for those who want to get more hands-on, learn how to clean & oil parts, check brakes & gears and apply easy tips to make your ride more enjoyable. The longer two-hour version includes hands-on learning on how to fix and replace a flat tire.
