Я это тоже заметил. Тем более, что 91-й на Шелле без этанола. На Шевроне с этанолом.
Машина разгоняется резвее и не кляцкает всеми клапанами..

Получается тратишь те же деньги, но ездишь на хорошем бензине и машина рвет как дурная.

Вот что говорят эксперты из American Petroleum Institute:

WHAT IF I PREFER TO USE GASOLINE WITH HIGHER OCTANE RATINGS?

You can, but there are no real benefits, other than the gasoline manufacturers making more money off of you. When you use a fuel with a higher octane rating than your vehicle requires, you can send this unburned fuel into the emissions system. It can also collect in the catalytic converter. When you over stress any system, it can malfunction or not do what it was designed to do properly. In the early 90's, an early warning symptom was a rotten egg smell from the tailpipe. Easy fix, go back to using regular 87 octane gasoline. The rude odor usually disappears after several tanks of gasoline.

Чем выше октановое число - тем быстрее сгорает топливо.

Higher octane ratings correlate to higher activation energies. Activation energy is the amount of energy necessary to start a chemical reaction. Since higher octane fuels have higher activation energies, it is less likely that a given compression will cause autoignition.

It might seem odd that fuels with higher octane ratings are used in more powerful engines, since such fuels explode less easily.

Другой вопрос, что там могут возникать всякие опережения зажигания..

quick reference! there is only one refinery in Great Vancouver! it is Chevron in North Burnaby!!! all gas stations get gasoline from there! don't B/shit with ethanol !the quality of gas must be the same at the time of delivery, at least.

don't mix up Chevron refinery with Petro or shell (distribution) terminals !!! find another refinery in GVRD.не путай хранилише с очисткой (переработкой) нефти
