Hi,

A friend of mine likes placing oracle datafiles on nfs shares.
I know it is dangerous and risky but what are the official arguments against it?

will work with certain restrictions, with few extra restrictions may even work in RAC configuration.

Have you oracle support when you use NFS - i think that not. May be file size no so big.
