We have an immediate opening for a Software Testing Specialist. The successful candidate will report to the Manager of Quality Assurance and be a key member of the QA process and our software development team. If you enjoy working with complex business systems and trying to break them then this is the job for you.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Execution of test plans
• Writing of application test plans and test scripts from business requirements and design documentation
• Development and execution of automated test scripts
• Documenting test results including status updates for project management
• Issue analysis
• Issue reporting and management
• Adherence and input to quality assurance process
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have
• I.T. or business post secondary degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years related work experience
• 1st hand experience with testing and/or development / configuration of enterprise scale database applications / operations management systems
• Experience with automated test tools
Nice to have
• 1st hand technical experience with MS SQL Server and/or Oracle
• Testing of C# .Net applications, electronic messaging / interfaces
• Accounting background or similar business process experience
SKILLS

• good interpersonal skills / team player
• excellent oral and written communication skills
