The Druzhba (Friendship) choir meets from 7:30 - 9:20 every Tuesday at the Russian Hall at 600 Campbell street in Strathcona.
We are a small choir with a rich history - born out of the federation of Russian Canadians. If you are interested in (take your pick) a) Russian b)community history c)singing d)being part of a group e) Slavic folk songs please visit us! You don't need to read music, know Russian, or have much of a voice - although any skills you have are appreciated!
While we rehearse until June (with breaks in between) if you have to miss a week here and there - still we would like to hear from you, and there is no membership charge! Copies of the music are given out and we perform at a few banquets over the year.
