Попутно вопросы:
1) есть мнение, что в OBJECTIVE лучше убрать С++, оставив только одного девелопера. Не понимаю почему это лучше. Как думаете вы?
2) есть мнение о том, что упоминание о годах експириенса тоже лишнее. Т.е. там, где написано
10 year experience ....
...
Six year ....
Убрать все упоминания о продолжительности опыта.
Не пойму, что. Но что-то в этой идеи есть. Как думаете?

3) Один парень совершенно справедливо отметил, что нигде нет упоминания в EDUCATION о MCs.
Как выкрутиться, если я не мастер и даже не бакалавр в комп.сайн?

4) Как подрихтовать резюме, что именно убрать если буду подаваться на джуниор позицию?

Папа, чего отлыниваешь

Замени VC 7.0 На VC.NET чистого вранья нет, а смотрится красивее.

Software Programmer такого здесь нет. Есть Software Developer и есть Programmer.

Годы я бы убрал везде кроме общего опта работы с С++, иначе не понятно, то ли ты одновременно писал под разные компиляторы, то ли ты начал писать на С++ лет 30 назад.
Описание проектов я бы перенес из DBMS, CAD, GIS tasks в соответствующую часть раздела WORK EXPERIENCE .

Проекты описал бы немного подробнее. Нормальный размер солидногог резюме - 3 страницы.

Все должности названны одинаково. Получается что нет никакого прогресса. Я бы начал с Junior и закончил бы Senior, тем более что так наверное и было.

Кошмарная фраза
"10 year experience of writing, modifying computer code in C/C++ and other languages. Experienced in full software development lifecycle in the roles of a Software Developer, Programmer and team member. "

Ты что ничем кроме модификации чужого кода не занимался? Да и звучит не по английски. Посмотри на чужие резюме.

В квалификации присутствует только С++, получается очень однобокий специалист. Распиши другие области тоже. Например с какими СУБД работал.

А вообще ты виндовый прикладной программер, сейчас под винды повсеместно используется .Net, учи его и вписывай в резюме, пусть даже придется придумывать проекты.

Как написать?

Вариант woozy тоже может быть неплох, если буду подавать на джуниор ( где было б не "разработал", а "участвовал" ).

1) Есть ещё такая идея... Медали SUMMARY поменять местами с TECHNICAL SKILLS. Т.е вначале, что ищу, потом гениальность королевича, а затем уж перечисления компиллеров.

2) Идея aldep о том, что мне следует убрать "года" из Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0/7.0 ( 6 years ), Borland C++ Builder 3.0/5.0 ( 5 years ) представляется очень здравой, т.к. где-то должно быть заметным в резюме покрывающее "10 year experience ". Думаю,
aldep прав. Хотелось бы узнать мнение и других, т.к. это коллективный мозг. Нет ничего более сильного. Кроме того, один ... товарищ настоятельно советовал проставить годочки.

Я в панике. Как сделать с этими годками. Подскажите, плиз.

Это же пример, желающие вместо просто Programmer могут вписать то, что им больше соответствует.

А тимплейт такой: "I am looking for an opportunity to improve my career as XXXXX"

Был intermediate developer, напиши что senior, был software architect, напиши Bill Gates. И всё по честному. Хочу развивать свою карьеру, как старшой. Хотеть не запрещается.

Вот ещё один вариант... Постарался учесть все замечания. Дополнительно убрал Watcom C (наверное, про это и не понят сейчас. не надо, наверное). Добавил базы данных отдельной строкой. Убрал иксчанги с проксями. Добавил в образовании приписку.
Выскажетесь, пожалуйста, по новому варианту.

Остальные замечания уже по английскому. А так резюме хорошее.

2. "an interface and an implementation of the database access objects for thin clients programming; " => "Designed and implemented object oriented database access layer."

3. "The work reduced the cost of future enhancements. " => "This middleware greatly increased robustness of the system, improved stability and reduced time and efforts needed to develop client applications."

4. "participated in full software development lifecycle in the roles of a Software Developer, team member and mentor" => "Have experience of working on all stages of software development cycle. Used to work independently, as a team member and team leader."

Если позиция на которую подаешь senior - вставляешь team leader, А половину слов developed заменяешь на designed.
Если позиция intermediate то побольше developed, и убери team leader.
