Salary: $80,000 to $100,000
Job Description:

Our Vancouver based client is looking to hire a Senior Web Developer. Key technologies for the candidate to possess are ASP, ASP.Net, and SQL Server with real world experience in enterprise-level software. Strong leadership qualities are necessary to plan workload, interface with other web and database developers, and then lead staff on assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the process of converting business requirements into technical requirements
• Research, design and implementation of web and database applications
• Over all architectural review and recommendation
• Development of project phases and monitoring of said phases
• Test plan development & execution

Required Skills & Experience:
• 5-7 years experience of commercial software development
• Strong experience with ASP/ASP.Net with object-oriented analysis, design, and application development expertise
• XML/XSL experience
• Strong SQL skills and experience with stored procedures
• Experience working in a full System Development Life Cycle (Agile Methodologies desired)
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical problem solving, and decision making skills
• Strong leadership skills including team lead & team mentoring
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to haves:
• Experience converting ASP applications to ASP.Net
• Experience with large scale system software or performing an architecture role
• SOAP and/or Web Service experience
• C++ experience

Education:
• Degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience.
