What’s the job?
We were going to call this job “Solver of network problems affecting critical business services”, but then we’d have to start making larger business cards.
Working with two 24x7 Data Center environments, you will use your advanced knowledge of Windows Server, Cisco IOS, firewalls, switches, and routing equipment to help evaluate network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements to both our internal and external networks spread across 50+ locations in Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island. As such this job will require some travel “overseas”. Knowledge of VoIP solutions (including Unified Messaging), would be a plus.
This position can reside in our Surrey, Central City location (by the Central City skytrain station) or in our Victoria, B.C. location (400-645 Tyee Rd, Victoria, B.C.).
Who are we looking for?
As our Network Analyst, attention to detail will be very important to you and you’ll be adaptable to change. Your strong sense of accountability will be an asset along with your ability to multitask.
For experience, you’ll need:
• Three years of experience using advanced protocol analyzers
• One year experience in troubleshooting VoIP based telephony systems
• And one of these criteria:
o a CCNP certification and at least two years of job related experience
o a CCNA certification and at least three to four years of job related experience
