Validation and Verification (V&V) Engineer
N-trig’s DuoSense™ technology combines pen, touch and multi-touch in a single device, using zero-pressure capacitive touch.
The position required a deep understanding of hardware implementations of sensor, PCBA, ASIC and stylus in order to create specific test plans and gave the problem’s root cause.
• Created and executed software application and hardware tests. Designed validation, and reliability testing
• Wrote test plans, system test procedures (STP) and acceptance test procedures (ATP)
• Composed scripts for computerized systems (robot machines) and used IBM ClearQuest for the bug management process
• Was responsible for validation of Hardware diagnostic tools such as PCBA, Sensor connectivity and Stylus Testers for assembly lines at China, Taiwan, Ireland
• Performed the following tests: Bundles - installation process, Driver versions which would be included in Windows 7 as part of “driver in the box”, Firmware of a touch sensor, diagnostic tools, “Self test” software tools (N-Trig Windows Diagnostic tool, N-Trig Dos Diagnostic tool, N-Trig Development Diagnostic tool)
