The Opportunity:
We are looking for those special Senior Java/J2EE/Hibernate developers to become an integral part of our fast growing company.
Job Functions:
* A significant amount of architectural design work.
* Hands on development, testing, and deploying of the software
* Leading teams building both front end and back ends of a very large, enterprise-class commercial software system
The People:
You are a natural leader with strong people and technical management skills coupled with excellent communication skills.
Working within Research & Development, the Java Development team will be responsible for assisting in the development of new modules.
The Description:
You will be required to use your skills and technical expertise to design, plan, develop and successfully implement new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should enjoy the challenge and rush of having to work with tight time restrictions, and have the confidence and creative problem solving skills to be able to pull off what others would say is impossible.
Technology Skills - Core
Programming Languages: Java, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring Framework, EJB, JDBC, and Swing on an Eclipse workbench.
Knowledge of Oracle, SQL, (Database design, administration and performance tuning)
Object Oriented Design
Operating Systems: Windows XP, 2000, 2003, Linux
Requirements
3-7 Years of hands-on programming experience.
Developed and managed high traffic web based JSP applications.
Quality assurance.
Data management.
Ensure company standards are created and followed.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Proven track record of successful management of resources and timelines.
Experience delivering enterprise-class software solutions preferred.
Must have hands-on experience delivering solutions using J2EE and Hibernate, relational databases, high-performance persistence, external data integration and sophisticated client environments.
Must have proven ability to collaborate across multiple development organizations.
Must have ability to technically document your programs.
