OBJECTIVE
To provide on the ground support for a wide range of IT services and project based activities throughout the enterprise environment, to include all computers users across the mine site
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3 years experience providing end user support
Minimum 3 year of performing infrastructure support in a WinTel environment
Diploma in Information Technology, comparable industry certifications and/or ability to demonstrate equivalent competencies : A+ plus MCP/MCSE
CCNA certification preferred
Post-secondary education - bachelors degree in science or engineering discipline is preferred
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
Mining experience is strongly preferable.
Experience in using integrated ERP system such as Ellipse.
Sound working knowledge of Microsoft applications particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent technical skills and demonstrated aptitude with regards to IT troubleshooting processes.
Ability to work in a team environment involving support, flexibility and team work.
Ability to meet requirements of own and department’s action plans.
Ability to demonstrate accuracy, consistency, confidentiality and a commitment to continuous improvement in the work environment.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential issues.
Analytical skills to understand issues, determine and implement solutions.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of five years in an IT Support Role.
