Job Description

Specific responsibilities for this position include:

· Produce detailed software design specifications in response to functional specifications and high level designs.
· Develop and unit test software code in response to design specifications and project plans
· Review and comment on project documentation in a timely fashion
· Provide effective communication within project teams and to management
· Provide ongoing, proactive technical support to customers, product management, sales, marketing and other teams
· Maintain competency in current software development practices and other areas of professional knowledge relevant to development activities
· Provide regular and timely reports on status of developments, current and anticipated problems, and recommendations for solutions for those problems

Qualifications

Energetic, results oriented individuals with a “can do” attitude are required with the following skill sets:

· B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent level of education and directly related work experience
· Minimum 3 years development experience, preferably within the financial services industry
· Strong written communications skills in English
· Demonstrable understanding of the software product development life cycle
· Proficient in: C#, with familiarity of C/C++, ASP. NET, XML, Windows 2000, TCP/IP, object oriented design methodologies, fault tolerant real-time software
· Proficient in SQL and relational databases, in particular Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and Transact SQL
· Expertise in the use of Microsoft technology, .NET, HTML, CSS, web services, and web application development.
· Completion of Canadian Securities Course or equivalent an asset

Job Description

TAP follows a rigorous and highly professional quality assurance process. The QA team is central to product development and client support, requiring dedicated individuals with a commitment to achieving the highest quality.

Based in TAP’s Vancouver office and reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, this position will perform the following functions:

· Research and write test conditions based on project documentation
· Write, execute, and maintain test scripts corresponding to test conditions
· Ensure that product deliverables meet both the letter and the spirit of the defined functionality
· Provide product support to colleagues within the firm and to customers
· Respond quickly and effectively to escalated customer queries and ensure problem resolution
· Review and contribute to project documents
· Participate actively in the many day-to-day activities associated with ensuring the success of TAP’s product lines

Qualifications

Quality assurance is high profile, core function at TAP. Experienced individuals with a background in Quality Assurance and/or customer support will find this to be a very interesting and stimulating role. An energetic, team player with the following background is required:

· Bachelors degree (Computer Science, Economics, Finance, etc.) or equivalent
· Minimum 2 years relevant experience
· Demonstrable experience of defining test conditions, corresponding test scripts, and business scenarios

· Ability to write complex SQL queries (transact-SQL preferred)

· Develop stored procedures, functions and triggers in support of application development
· Identify and resolve data related problems

· Provide support of internal databases as requested (administration, backups, recovery)
· Develop and support useful client documentation

Небольшое уточнение.
Нам требуется 2 QA analyst-а intermediate (senior) уровня. Оба срочно

Interview process для QA проходит в 2 приема. Сначала интервью с HR-ами и небольшой тестик (тестерская задачка и несколько SQL queries), а потом второе интервью с QA manager-ом.

под секурятями понимаются "ценные бумаги" а не безопасность типа секурити клиранса. тот курс про ценные бумаги на канадском рынке. без него берут.
