Job Title: Senior Network Specialist

On behalf of our client in downtown Vancouver, TRS Contract Consulting Group is looking for a Senior Network Specialist for a new opportunity.
The Network Administrator is responsible for supporting an extensive range of LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
Your responsibilities include:
- Technical Infrastructure and Systems support
- Work as part of a team to provide network design, implementation, support and system security
- Support the network infrastructure including network, routers, switches, firewall, VPN and intrusion detections
Your qualifications include:
- Extensive networking expertise in supporting products
- Vast experience and familiarity with Cisco technology, particularly routers and switches
- Hands-on experience in large scale LAN/WAN technology deployments
- Knowledge of desktop Operating Systems (Microsoft, Novell, Windows, UNIX)
- Experience with VOIP
- Experience troubleshooting a complete range of network problems
- Technical leadership skills in coordinating projects
You are able to:
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Analyze problems and come up with innovative and straightforward solutions
- Collaborate with management, team members and customers
