SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
PARTICIPATION IN PROJECTS
• Project Environment: C#, C++, Visual Studio, Oracle, MySQL, Crystal Reports.
The project is a core component of any highway tolling system and is a summary of several software/hardware solutions. The purpose of the project is to auditing the leaks in a financial system of highway toll authority. The project consisted from several layers. First layer is a hardware level communication with video encoders that broadcast H246 encoded video stream via TCP or UDP streams, the Digital Video Recorders that capture the broadcasted streams and record in files and license plate cameras. This level of the project includes video stream organization and recording and triggering image snapshots on license plate cameras, when vehicle is in a required position. Second layer is a snapshot and video clip extraction from recorded files using video encoder's API and storing as blobs in database. Third layer is user-friendly interface which integrates the vehicles/customers/transactions with the associated videos and images. The project also includes the optical character recognition (OCR) subsystem integrated with the GUI. The third level also gives ability to generate various reports and violation notices.
• Project Environment: C#, C++, Visual Studio/Oracle
The project is a two layer solution to monitor various device/hardware components of entire toll system. On the first layer the project consists of the framework of interaction with various devices, using their APIs and drivers.
On a second layer the project represents an interactive map of toll road where points of interests (for instance entry and exit ramps) are visible. User can navigate and zoom to any POI and see the status of it, the devices installed on that POI and status of each device. Besides the ability to check for status of each component users can restart/pause/start the operation, get e-mail and sms notifications and generate reports. For example users can see the video encoder (bundled with camera), see if the camera is attached or detached, see if the encoder is broadcasting video or not, analyze percentage of lost video packets, see if the recording server is receiving and recording video packets or not and can start and/or stop the recording based on the status.
As a developer I covered the complete SDLC and support of the above mentioned projects.
June 2007 – May 2008, Infinium Group Corporation, Toronto, ON, Canada
SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
PARTICIPATION IN PROJECTS
• Project environment: C#, Visual Studio/MS SQL/MySQL.
The application is an internal tool and is used by electronic trading department. As a developer I covered the complete SDLC of the application. On the database side I also designed/created/optimized tables, triggers, stored procedures and views both on MS SQL and MSQL DBMS. The application was using MySQL for storing the daily data and MS SQL for storing the historical/analytical data.
One of the rocking features of the project is DBMS platform independence: the application can be easily configured to work with MS SQL Server, MySQL or Oracle databases and have processing optimized for a specific DBMS.
• Project Environment: C#, VS2005.
Database conversion and migration tool for financial data migration from MySQL to MS SQL and vise versa. The application can work in wizard or advanced mode. In wizard mode the application will step by step gather information that user needs to convert and will convert it. In advanced mode the application will show the database structure in a nicely organized mode to user. Here users can select the structure and/or data that needs to be converted and proceed with it.
• Maintained daily DBA tasks on both MySQL and MS SQL databases.
2001 – 2007, Central Bank of Armenia (CBA), Yerevan, Armenia
SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
PARTICIPATION IN PROJECTS
• Project environment: C++, Borland CBuilder, MS SQL Server, Crystal Reports.
The project is collection and management of the licenses and fines given by Central Bank to other financial institutions. I was participated in design and development of the users/privileges/roles subsystem.
• Project environment: C++, Borland CBuilder, MS SQL Server, Crystal Reports.
The purpose of the project is to organize Central Banks help desk operation. I participated in design and development of reporting subsystem.
• Project environment: Microsoft Visual Studio, Oracle.
The purpose of the project was to audit all the financial institutions' reporting data sent to Central Bank of Armenia. I participated in development of communications channels messaging subsystems of the project.
EDUCATION:
Yerevan State University, 1995-2001 - MA in Math
State Engineering University of Armenia, 2001-2004 - PhD in Applied math and Computer Science
Прошу отметить что в центробанке проектов было гораздо больше но не захотел удлинять резюме и писать про не канадский экспириянс. Как думаете правильний поступок? и в целом прошу покритиковать.
