Description
The position of Senior Systems Analyst will be responsible for application support, troubleshooting, and performance analysis of a complex ERP software solution.
Qualifications
BS in Computer Science or related degree
5+ years of professional experience in the following technologies:
- Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008R2
- SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2008R2
o Installation, upgrades, maintenance, performance analysis
o SQL queries
- SQL Reporting Services, SQL Analysis Services, SQL Integration Services
- Windows Active Directory
- Windows Scripting
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, Progress Software, and Microsoft IIS an asset
Experience with InstallShield an asset
Competencies Skills
Communicate effectively with customers, managers, and technical staff
Work in a team environment to troubleshoot technically challenging problems
Work independently on technical solutions and collaboratively with the extended team
Honesty and critical thinking
Strong problem solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
Solid business writing skills (professional correspondence with customers worldwide)
Tasks/Duties
Install, update, and troubleshoot our applications in customer environments
Carry out performance analysis of Windows servers/networks
Windows server installation and troubleshooting
SQL server installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and performance analysis
Business Intelligence support and troubleshooting including:
- Data warehouse setup
- Creating olap Cubes using SAS
- Installing SRS data models
Installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting our Software
Microsoft Dynamics GP: eConnect configuration and troubleshooting
Bring new ideas and solutions to the team as an active participant in planning meetings
