I never thought I would write a book. I am not a scholar, a journalist, or a sociologist. But I decided to speak out after talking to hundreds of women, listening to their struggles, sharing my own, and realizing that the gains we have made are not enough and may even be slipping. The first chapter of this book lays out some of the complex challenges women face. Each subsequent chapter focuses on an adjustment or difference that we can make ourselves: increasing our self-confidence, getting our partners to do more at home, not holding ourselves to unattainable standards. I do not pretend to have prefect solutions to these deep and complicated issues.

может быть, но статистика заявляет, что только 50% женщин выпускниц Гарварда в 90-х годах к концу 2007 года имели full -time работу. Не думаю, что стало намного лучше. Так что надо что-то делать

Видимо они закончили по специальности History of Medieval French literature.

Нет не сходится. Специально пришлось поднять статью Man Up! в Maclean's - там говорится о выпускницах Бизнесс школы, а не артс

Прчитала, съела пару интересных поинтс, плюсую. Но в целом не понравилось, на 3 с нятяжкой.

Понравилось:
1. Не торопи события.
2. Если есть что сказать не жди, скажи.
3. Если хочешь быть начальницей, муж должен быть хаусмен.

Не понравилось:
1. Тетенька не приняла в расчет, что как не крути а биологическая разница присутсвует ВСЕГДА. Этот фактор нужно рассматривать в первую очередь.
2. Много феминизма, хотя я за женскую солидарность.
3. Такие книги должны писаться не дилетантами.
