The candidate should have a strong Microsoft technical background. The candidate does not have to be as strong systems analyst. However, the candidate should be very keen on becoming a systems analyst.



DESCRIPTION



Our client intends to select two consultants to work as Senior System Analysts and Team Leads on various projects and work requests in the Supply Chain Services and Corporate Services areas of Application Development. The term of the agreement for this requirement is to commence Jan 30, 2006 for a six month period ending July 28, 2006



MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE



Knowledge of OOP and OOD techniques, methods and modules, along with knowledge of OO development tools such as Delphi and/or JAVA.
Experience with the following areas: Web development; Unix and MS LAN environments; Oracle DB and SQL code.
Demonstrates knowledge of and recognizes the benefits of adherence to systems lifecycle methodologies.
Experience in writing impact analysis and system design documents for programmers.
Experience in leading a team of developers and analysts
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Demonstrated knowledge of system analysis skills
Experience working with and/or implementing packaged software
Knowledge of applications in the Liquor industry, is preferred
Working knowledge of MS-Project, MS-Office and Visio

Intermediate .Net Programmer/Analyst
Overview:


We require an individual with strong Microsoft-based Internet development experience for a Intermediate level position. You will work in fast paced, multi-tasking environment developing and supporting our web services. This individual will have to be a motivated, accountable, self-starting member of the Canaccord team. They will work closely with the Management team and take directions on future software deployments and projects.


Job Description:


Application development experience (including 2 years Internet development experience)
Write software using Microsoft Visual Studio.Net, C#, ASP.Net, Web Services
Respond to the needs of department heads by creating software solutions that improve their management capabilities.
Test and validate new software features prior to implementing them.
Stay current with ever-changing trends, technologies, and standards involving website design including .NET, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, XML, SQL database development, relational database design, and database protocols.
Apply new technologies as they emerge.
Maintain current web apps and content management
Install, configure, maintain, and optimize websites in the Windows server environment.
Insure the integrity of the data in the customer and company web-related databases.
Works well in a team environment but can also work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Experience in middle tier coding.
Experience with full software development cycle
Experience with object-oriented techniques
Essential Competencies:


B.Sc. in Computer Science
2-3 years working experience in a complex environment.
C#, ASP.Net, Web Services
