Swim Recruiting is looking for 3 Senior .Net Web Developers on behalf of our prestigious down town Vancouver client. These are 6 month contract opportunities that will see you involved in building a new web application from ground zero.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engaged in all aspects of the software development lifecycle
• Responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing software applications
• Analyze and troubleshoot program code and correct errors as required
• Provide software documentation both in program code and externally
Required Skills:
• 7+ year’s software development experience
• 5+ year’s development experience with .NET web development
• Extensive web development skills using ASP.NET with C#
• Experience in object-oriented design and analysis
• Experience in any Object-Relational mapping frameworks like Entity Framework
• Knowledge of AJAX and frameworks such as anthem.NET
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, jQuery
• Strong Database development skills in a SQL Server database environment
• Strong SQL Server troubleshooting skills such as performance issues and database tuning
• Exceptional communication skills including verbal, documentation and presentation
• Localization/Globalization implementation knowledge
Assets:
• Experience with Dependency Injection
• Experience with AngularJS
• Experience with WebAPI (REST web-services)
• Experience with MS MVC
• Experience with modern design patterns (DDD, TDD, IoC, and others)
Education:
• Post-secondary education in Computer Science or related discipline
Team Lead Software Developer - Permanent
Swim Recruiting is recruiting for a Team Lead Software Developer for our Vancouver based client. This is a permanent full time position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Expert level OO design, SOA and programming skills
• Knowledge and experience in implementation of Design Patterns and best practices
• Manage complex technical projects and a team of software engineers
• Development, documentation, and maintenance of cutting edge web-based applications
• Participating in technical planning and architectural exercises
• Strong experience developing and implementing highly complex technical solutions in a web environment
Required Skills:
• 7+ year’s software development experience
• 7+ year’s development experience in ASP.NET 2.0, 3.5, 4.0, WCF
• Minimum of 3 years team lead experience
• Extensive web development skills using ASP.NET with C#
• Extensive front end and back end web development skills
