I can also confirm that I got the $40/4GB plan to port from Fido post paid.

Call into retentions first time around which was a bit weird given that's I'm not a Rogers customer and got shot down pretty quick (told me they're only for PAYG customers) but said she could transfer me to someone who could help. Called again this time into sales. Mentioned that I was talking about porting my two lines and that the last person looking into this said I may be able to qualify the 40/4 or 50/6 plan. She was super nice and at first said of course this is only for Rogers/Chatr prepaid but I kept insisting (very politely) and eventually she put me on hold for 10-15 mins then came back and agreed to give me the plans.

I mentioned the codes: MIGM42226 and MIGM42227 (obviously didn't say that I got them from RFD). She said that it helps a lot to have those codes and I think it expedited the process.

She confirmed that this is a no contract plan and I get to keep it forever, although as we all know, that doesn't really mean much with Rogers but I did my due diligence so we'll see.

The only recommendation that I have, as many other people have mentioned, is to be as polite and as friendly as possible. I made some small talk with her for about 10 minutes and chatted about weather, online ordering and a bunch of other stuff to the point that she was so comfortable with me that she even cursed a couple of times which I found hilarious. I think that definitely established some credibility and gave her a motivation to try hard and get me on the plan.
