Here is how the consulting process works:
1. You apply online and set your hourly consulting rate.

online surveys or in-person meetings. All projects will be scheduled at your
convenience.
4. You accept or decline the invitation (You are never under an obligation to
consult).
5. If you accept, we connect you with our client to schedule the consultation
at your convenience (most projects last under one hour)
6. You invoice Gerson Lehrman Group through our website and we pay you within
one week of invoice receipt. Payments for surveys and in-person meetings are
automatically sent within one week of project completion.
Council Members are asked to help educate and provide objective insight to our
clients. You will be given the opportunity to vet each project invitation for
conflicts (including forwarding to a third party) to help you ensure that any
confidentiality agreements or other obligations you may have are honored. Council
Members are never obligated to consult, will not be invited to projects about their
company or employer, and should only accept consultations on topics they are
comfortable with and permitted to discuss.
Council Members may also designate topics on which they can or cannot consult in
advance, so that we may find appropriate projects for you.
