Location: East Toronto
Requirements
2-4 years of previous QA Team Lead experience is mandatory.
Testing experience in a Terabyte sized Data Warehouse is mandatory.
Strong demonstrated SQL scripting work experience (complicated query design, SQL query optimization) is mandatory.
Experience applying QA processes and methodologies in a Terabyte sized Data warehouse environment, including experience designing test cases and test plans is mandatory.
Strong UNIX Shell Scripting experience coupled with experience performing automated testing using UNIX shell scripts (ie. korn, c, bourne, command line, shell scripting, troubleshooting,)
Experience performing data load testing (i.e. creating complex test data and loading it into a DB to test functionality).
Strong understanding of the ETL process from a QA perspective (ie. experience testing the aspects of ETL transformation using SQL, replicating the ETL process in a staging area using SQL) .
Experience performing data conversion, migration and integration testing.
Experience understanding business rules and working with a BSA.
Experience with ETL tools is an asset (Ab Initio)
Financial industry experience is an asset.
Other Desired Skills
Must have demonstrated ability to lead a team of 3-5 QA Analysts.Experience managing "virtual teams" would also be advantageous.
Additional Comments
Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.Must have excellent coaching, mentoring and leadership skills.Will work in a team of 3-5 QA Analysts.
