BURNABY - The RCMP is asking for the public's help in locating a missing 18-year-old who hasn't been seen by her family she left home Saturday afternoon.
Alexandra Reziapova left her family's home in the 4300-block of Beresford at around 2 p.m. Saturday.
Reziapova is an avid photographer and often goes to parks -- especially Burnaby Lake, Central Park and Deep Cove -- to take pictures.
But on Saturday, she left home without her camera.
Adding to her parents' concern is the fact that Reziapova, a student at the B.C. Institute of Technology, missed her classes Monday morning.
She also did not take any money with her and has not used her bank account since Saturday.
Reziapova's parents, Elena and Marat, have told police she has never gone missing before.
"It's very unusual for her," said police Const. Kalinda Link. "She likes to be at home."
Anyone with information on Reziapova's whereabouts is asked to contact Burnaby RCMP at 604-294-7922 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
