Job Description:
Digital Dispatch Systems (DDS), a public company, is a global provider of
advanced wireless mobile data systems. We specialize in the design, development
and deployment of fleet management systems for real-time dispatching, vehicle
location and tracking and computerized routing and scheduling in multiple
vertical markets.
In the position of Software Quality Assurance Tester, you will be responsible
for:
• Creating, maintaining and executing test plans and test cases for functional
testing
• Creating and maintaining test tools
• Identifying, documenting and tracking software defects encountered during
testing
• Working closely with Customer Service on reproducing customer problems and
seeking information when more is needed
• Working closely with developers to ensure defects are correctly identified,
fixed, tested and incorporated into product builds
You are a self-motivated, results-driven, pro-active individual who is able to
work independently and as part of a team. You are analytical and
solutions-oriented and have excellent communication skills, both written and
verbal. You have a good knowledge of general testing procedures and
methodologies and understand the product development lifecycle and processes.
Furthermore, you are able to configure and install PC software and Windows
2003/XP.
In addition to previous similar work experience, a Diploma of Technology in the
engineering field is required.
