In order to carry out this plan of allowing Germany to drive eastward against Russia, it was necessary to do three things: (1) to liquidate all the countries standing between Germany and Russia; (2) to prevent France from honoring her alliances with these countries; and (3) to hoodwink the English people into accepting this as a necessary, indeed, the only solution to the international problem.

По моему вы игнорируете реальную историю Англия объявило войну Германии сильно раньше чем в войну вступил СССР, если они так боялись за СССР ну заключили бы договор с СССР или просто объявили войну Германии в 41, но в 39 то зачем тут то СССР ни при чём, Англия и Франция вполне рассчитывали на свои силы тогда никто не предполагал такой блицкриг, который случился в реале, но дело даже не в войне, котарая оказалась слишком тяжёлой для Англии и привела к потери империи, даже без войны не уверен что Англия смогла бы удержать империю, а вот объединение с Германией и некоторыми другими странами на основе национал-социализма могло стать ключом для удержания власти над миром. Собственно что я хочу сказать альтернативы нацианал-социализму для Англии не было, что понимал Гитлер и предлагал союз Англии.
