ICBC has asked the RCMP to investigate after it was revealed the insurance company was selling cars that had been written off and the possibility some executives took advantage of that secret knowledge.
The NDP's Mike Farnworth is pleased with Paul Taylor's resignation, "Clearly, there needs to be accountability and it's the right thing for him to leave and we need to get somebody in there who can restore public confidence and provide the leadership the corporation needs." The NDP continues to call for a full investigation into ICBC.
