Our client is an entrepreneurial design and manufacturer of leading edge electronic and image capturing technology. They have been acquired by an international firm and growing fast as a result. They need someone to ‘own' all internal IT aspects as well as communication/liaison and negotiation with head office IT.

Responsibilities:

Maintain corporate IT infrastructure to comply with established policies and procedures, including architecture, security and disaster recovery standards
Provide support/maintenance to all corporate users on all office applications
Conduct regular operational processes including installation, upgrading, deployment and maintenance of workstations and laptops
Support business software and processes, including CRM and ERP systems.
Requirements:

Computer Engineering Degree/Diploma and appropriate IT certification/s
5+ years experience in IT support, infrastructure maintenance and monitoring, business systems support and desktop technical support
Expertise in the following areas:

Local IT Infrastructure Support
WAN Connectivity
LAN (VLAN/Switch)
DNS/DHCP
IT data room maintenance - air conditioning, security, etc.
UPS
Backup
Local PC Support
XP, Win7
MS Office/Outlook
MS Active Director
Antivirus
File/Print
Software licensing
Inventory
Local Systems Support
VOIP phone system
Assist with Operations equipment support
Test network, Label printers
Building alarm, other telecommunications equipment
Business Software Support & Processes
