The senior quality assurance (QA) analyst is responsible for delivering and promoting cost effective and efficient software QA processes in accordance with industry best practices and customer requirements. The successful candidate will be critical in the defining, development and delivery of quality assurance roadmap initiatives, methodologies and processes. In addition, the incumbent will drive QA process measurements and metrics and act as a technical consultant to project teams, testing leads and business users.
As a qualified candidate, you are able to:
Define, develop and deliver QA roadmap initiatives, methodologies and processes
Lead the development, implementation, and promotion of various QA practices, procedures, policies, and standards
Evaluate testing strategies already in place while developing and implementing new processes following industry best practices
Communicate organizational QA vision and strategy to all stakeholders while establishing and maintaining partnerships across IT divisions
Promote a customer-focused and service-oriented approach to providing QA services to client groups
Develop and maintain a system test strategy, covering: test coverage, test scenarios, test case development, test data management, test case execution, reporting and follow-up
Provide overall technical leadership for ensuring thorough functional (manual and automated), regressive, integrative, system-based, UAT, and performance testing (load, stress and endurance)
You possess the following education and experience:
A diploma in computer programming or systems technology
5-7 years of experience related to software quality assurance and testing
Experience producing QA and testing strategies for application development projects
An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
