We have recently gone public, so I am focused on SOX Compliance Projects, and the New POS system
I'm looking for an interim Systems Admin full-time for 6 months with a Linux background.
- self managed mini-projects
- configure 2 x SonicWall Pro 4060 for hardware fail-over and redundant connectivity - test, review and document NAT and VPN security rules
- stabilize our systems(mail, web, development, mysql, accounting, migrate NetWare 4.2 to Java-LDAP-Samba, or Active Directory)
- setup new systems (separate development from production, syslog/audit server, intrusion prevention tools)
- design, manage, document Backup-Recovery systems(NAS, scripting with Rsync) to remote, co-located archival system
- document procedures according to new policies - wiki knowledge base
- mentor incoming assistant IT Manager(needs basic Linux training)
- deal with various testing projects (Windows systems - terminal services)
