VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Vancouver Police are looking for a homeless man accused of stabbing a man last night around 10 in a back lane just east of Homer Street near Robson. Police describe the suspect as approximately 5'10" and about 35-years old, wearing a dark hoodie and a black hat. VPD Constable Jana McGuinness says the victim was walking in the lane, a short distance from Library Square. "A person came up behind him, asked him for money. He said 'I don't have any money' and then this man just stabbed him in the stomach without any provocation."
The victim fell to the ground and the suspect rifled through his pockets, only to find the man really didn't have any cash. The man's injuries, luckily, are not too serious. He managed to walk to Homer Street and called for help. Paramedics treated the wound on the scene
