Position Title: EMC Storage Administrator
Primary duties will include day-to-day administration of EMC SAN environment, Storage Administration project work, AIX administration, and provide backup support to the Tivoli administrator.
The position's responsibilities include maintaining and monitoring the Storage systems, Implementing new storage systems and troubleshooting any problems that are encountered with the storage systems.
Requirements:
EMC experience in the following areas:
Clariion/Symmetrix Support
Timefinder/SRDF Support
Fabric Management
PERL or Shell Scripting
Unix/NT experience
The ideal candidate should have at least two years experience with EMC SAN administration and EMC software products. Any EMC NAS experience would be a plus as well. The candidate should be able to administer EMC Symmetrix and Clariion storage systems with minimal assistance. The candidate should be well versed in the use of EMC Control Center, Timefinder, Storage Scope and ESN Manager software. Additionally, the candidate should possess at least three years of Unix (AIX) administration experience. Finally, experience with Tivoli products (Tivoli Storage Manager, Framework, Distributed Monitoring, and Enterprise Console products) is preferred.
