Raised Eyebrow Web Studio is looking for a web developer with solid coding, communication, and time management skills. This will be a part-time, contract position.
Must-Haves:
Excellent (X)HTML skills
Fluent with Dreamweaver but your hand-coding is spotless
Ability to use CSS to develop layouts as well as style text
Basic to intermediate Photoshop
Good communicator
Time management
Comfortable working in a PC/Windows environment
Bonus Points For:
Javascript -- basic to intermediate fluency
Familiarity with W3C Web Standards, including WAI guidelines
PHP
Design skills
Responsibilities:
Converting Photoshop templates into (X)HTML pages, using CSS to create layouts (no tables except for tabular data);
Browser testing across all major browsers and platforms;
Troubleshooting those pesky cross-browser issues.
Qualities We're Looking For:
A detail-oriented person (bordering on nitpicky).
Solid, responsible, reliable, and great at keeping the team in the loop on your progress.
Comfortable working as part of a team as well as independently.
Someone who enjoys all the phases of the build process, from initial planning, to testing, to debugging, to launch.
Efficiency: great at prioritizing and handling deadlines.
