Database Administrator
The Information Systems division of the Finance Department is seeking an energetic, self-starting individual who will work well in a dynamic environment and get the job done.

As the technical lead for Delta's complex application technology environments, including Peoplesoft 8 and Maximo, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the Corporation's databases, application servers, and web servers (SQL Server, Tuxedo, Apache, Web Logic). This includes planning and managing upgrades, liaising with departmental staff, establishing technical standards and troubleshooting, and providing technical leadership to other staff.

The ideal candidate will have a university degree at the Bachelor level in Computer Science and progressive technical experience with complex databases and applications, strong interpersonal skills, and the desire to move into a leadership position. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Peoplesoft, Maximo, and Java would be asset.

This bargaining unit position offers a competitive salary range from $32.53-$38.52 per hour plus an excellent benefit package including Municipal Pension Plan and a 9 day fortnight work schedule.
