Dear Official,

Currently, an effort is underway to require that all Canadians be injected with a rushed COVID-19 shot prior to traveling internationally, and to carry documentation that they have received the injection on a “vaccine immunity passport.”

Even though we don’t yet have “vaccine immunity passports” in Canada, as your constituent, I am writing to tell you that I am strongly against them.

I have signed and I fully agree with the petition put forward by Vaccine Choice Canada, who adamantly opposes vaccine passports.

As a Canadian who lives in the area you represent, I ask that you consider your own stance on “vaccine immunity passports” very carefully.

Here are the main reasons I personally support this stance:
It’s against the Canadian Charter of rights and freedoms - Requiring documentation of receiving an experimental vaccine in order to freely travel internationally is both illogical and unethical. The Canadian Charter of rights and freedoms guarantees “the right to enter, remain in and leave Canada” and protects “the right to life, liberty and security of the person and the right not to be deprived thereof except in accordance with the principles of fundamental justice.”

It has real ethical considerations - As recently at March 8, 2021, even the World Health Organization has stood against requiring COVID-19 vaccination prior to international travel, stating “there are real, practical and ethical considerations” with vaccine certification, including “inequity and unfairness.”

Governments have failed to provide justifying scientific evidence - Various governments around the globe have failed, after a full year, to provide verifiable medical and scientific evidence that the unprecedented lockdowns and other measures said to mitigate the COVID-19 pandemic have been warranted. In my opinion, the push for “vaccine passports” is another attempt to take Canadians’ freedoms without justification.

None of the trials were designed to measure serious outcomes - In October, The British Medical Journal said, “None of the trials currently under way are designed to detect a reduction in any serious outcome such as hospital admissions, use of intensive care, or deaths. Nor are the vaccines being studied to determine whether they can interrupt transmission of the virus.”

Coerced injections violate the Nuremburg Code and may be criminal – Compelling an entire population to accept an injection classified as “experimental” is not only immoral.

Any experimental drug potentially comes with great risk. Coerced injection is a violation of Canadians’ legally guaranteed right to informed consent and in direct violation of both the Universal Declarations of Bioethics and Human Rights and the Nuremberg Code, which was drafted in response to medical abuse by the Nazis during World War II.
Drug manufacturers have zero legal liability for harm or damages - Manufacturers of the COVID-19 injections have demanded and been granted legal indemnity for any harm or injuries caused by their products. They will profit – and only profit – no matter the damage they cause.

COVID-19 injections are not vaccines and are not proven safe or effective – These shots are not vaccines, according to the WHO’s definition. Instead of using “a killed or weakened form of a virus or bacteria [to train] our bodies to recognize and fight the disease if we encounter it” post-injection, these shots introduce synthetic genetic technology to the system. Manufacturers of these shots claim they reduce the severity of symptoms for those who are exposed to the virus post-inoculation. But these claims – and the safety of the injections – cannot be proven because this technology has never been used in a human population before this pandemic. As a result, any suggestion that mandatory widespread injection is “for the greater good” is unfounded.

Vaccine passports would be a gross overreach of government power - Although an official decree requiring vaccine passports for international travel has not yet been issued in Canada, the possibility of it is growing here and in industrialized nations. This is a gross overreach of government power.

In closing, our rights to live, socialize, travel and conduct business as we wish have already been demolished in response to this pandemic.

I am adamantly against vaccine immunity passports, which force Canadians to succumb to medical coercion before they are allowed to travel internationally.
