А, тот самый "знаменитый" больной на голову борец с Теслой Keef.
Хорошие у тебя образцы для подражания, LeeVan. Так держать!
"As Elon pointed out, 37 out of the 40 complaints listed on NHTSA’s website contain false or misleading information. That’s because the owners of vehicles didn’t file the complaints, but someone named Keef Leech did, also known on the internet as Keef Wivaneff and other aliases.
Leech’s claim to fame is to have “busted” a scam to sell bogus “solar harvesting devices” in Australia. He describes himself as someone who “bust green scams” and for the past few years, this role can be summarized as “attacking” companies with an environmental aspect, like Tesla.
His “attacks” mainly take the form of online comments on articles about Tesla and other “green companies”. Keef has also been gathering and sharing pictures of crashed Tesla Model S vehicles. A reverse Google search on the pictures show that most of them were taken from salvage auction websites to sell vehicles totalled after severe crashes...
Some of the complaints made to NHTSA were based on the same pictures Leech has been gathering and the complaints suggested that the crashes had something to do with Tesla’s suspension even though the listing have little to no information on how the vehicles were damaged. It’s important to note that most car crashes are due to human errors, not car defect or part failure.
The NHTSA complaints were filed not long after Leech added salvaged pictures to his collection and he then would refer to them in his online comments without pointing out that he filed them.
In other complaints, Leech, who is from Australia, discloses that he is filing under a made up US address.
Though NHTSA never launched an official investigation, it did probe the suspension complaints, but it was following a legitimate complaint from an actual Model S owner, not the dozen fake complaints based on regular crashes. The agency requested some information from Tesla and as previously mentioned, a spokesperson for NHTSA confirmed that the agency has not found any safety issue with Tesla’s suspension."

Чукча - не читатель, чукча - писатель? Или с пониманием английского проблемы?
Фотки - с salvage yard. Машины - после аварий, которые не имеют никакого отношения к проблемам с подвеской.

Toyota Class Action Alleges Steering Wheel Defect
A class action lawsuit has been filed against Toyota Motor Corporation by a consumer who claims that the car manufacturer sold 2008-2013 Toyota Highlander vehicles with a steering wheel design defect.
Plaintiff Linda Drake says the intermediate drive shaft causes a clunk, pop, or knock-type noise when the steering wheel is turned to the left or right.

Anybody else had their steering column collapse?
Has anybody here had this problem? I have an 08 Tacoma I bought used in 2010 with 30k miles on it, now at about 65k. Most of the time I've had it, it has been great. A few months back, I started having problems with the turn indicator lever hitting the dash panel, causing either my turn signal to kick back off immediately, or sometime my brights would turn on. I adjusted the steering wheel down until the problem was resolved, although I didn't at the time realize the Tacoma even had a telescopic steering wheel, just traditional up and down movement. About a month ago I was having the problem again, so I went to adjust the position again and found out there is the ability to telescope the steering wheel, and figured it must've gotten pushed in by one of the guys at the autoshop while they were working on the car. I also noticed at that point that my telescoping function was not locked down very well by the lever on the underside of the steering column, so even though the steering wheel didn't move up or down, if I applied enough force I could move it in or out while it was "locked."
Today I was driving home, and at an intersection I went to make a left turn when a car behind the car attempting to make a left turn across the intersection from me pulled around it and nearly collided with me. I reached my hand out to honk the horn, but instead the steering wheel locking mechanism gave way, and the steering wheel pushed forward and dropped into my lap.
