Car-free Vancouver Day

This event is comprised of four simultaneous festivals: Kitsilano boasts block parties, dances, performers, and potluck; the West End closes Denman Street from noon to 6 p.m. for parades, stages, and community tables; from noon to 6 p.m., Commercial Drive features Tribal Harmonix and the Healing Garden; and Main Street (between 12th Ave. and 16th Ave.) runs from 4 to 10 p.m. with a farmers' market, street hockey, fire show, and skateboard demos.
