Asset Control (former TAPSolutions) is looking for intermediate to senior Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description

Asset Control follows a rigorous and highly professional quality assurance process. The QA team is central to product development and client support, requiring dedicated individuals with a commitment to achieving the highest quality.

Based in Asset Control’s Vancouver office and reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, this position will perform the following functions:

· Research and write test conditions based on project documentation
· Write, execute, and maintain test scripts corresponding to test conditions
· Ensure that product deliverables meet both the letter and the spirit of the defined functionality
· Provide product support to colleagues within the firm and to customers
· Respond quickly and effectively to escalated customer queries and ensure problem resolution
· Review and contribute to project documents
· Participate actively in the many day-to-day activities associated with ensuring the success of Asset Control’s product lines

Qualifications

Quality assurance is high profile, core function at Asset Control. Experienced individuals with a background in Quality Assurance and/or customer support will find this to be a very interesting and stimulating role. An energetic, team player with the following background is required:

· Bachelors degree (Computer Science, Economics, Finance, etc.) or equivalent
· Minimum 2 years relevant experience
· Demonstrable experience of defining test conditions, corresponding test scripts, and business scenarios
· Database experience and expertise in relational databases in particular
· Ability to write complex SQL queries (transact-SQL preferred)
· Familiarity with XML, Microsoft .NET and SQL Server Technology
· Strong communication skills in written English
· Knowledge of the international financial markets a major asset
- excellent communications and organizations skills
