VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - There's word top executives are being fired at ICBC after it was learned the insurance company was selling vehicles that had been declared write offs but that fact wasn't disclosed for eight years.
NDP leader Carole James points out the law says a vehicle's past has to be disclosed when it's sold, but now it looks like there's one law for us and another for ICBC "They're supposed to be focused on providing a good quality insurance, low cost insurance to drivers. It appears they're focused on anything but."
James wants a thorough investigation into the ICBC write off car sale scandal. She jokes the provincial government faces so many scandals now, it's running out of people to hold public inquiries.
