Intermediate/Senior Hardware Engineer (ref # 4029)

Position Overview:
As an Intermediate/Senior Hardware Engineer your responsibilities will include:
• Working on interesting, leading edge hardware design projects that incorporate Intrinsyc’s
family of “Cerf” technologies (StrongArm, XScale, SH3, FPGA, DSP, etc)
• Full lifecycle product development including requirements, design, test, debug, certification,
packaging integration
Requirements/Skills:
Familiarity with:
• Microprocessor, DSP and/or FPGA design including microprocessor signals (high-speed
busses, oscillators, I/O ports, etc.)
• Power supply design (linear and switching)
• Analog circuit design (op-amps, A/D converters)
• FGPA and/or CPLD design including VHDL design and simulation
• C/C++, Assembler, Windows programming would be great
• Experience with CAD/CAM for schematic capture and PCB layout
• Ability to debug hardware
• Knowledge of serial communications protocols and StrongArm/Xscale architecture would be a
tremendous asset
• Ability to lead a development team from requirements specification through production
• Education will include a B.Sc. In Electrical/ Computer Engineering or related discipline with five
or more years experience in hardware design
• Excellent oral and communication skills
