Canadian manufacturing sales drop 6% to $38.4-billion in May

"Manufacturing sales had leveled off between February and April, after falling by 18.7% between October 2008 and January 2009," the federal agency said.
The May sales number was the lowest since November 1998.

Индекс промышленного производства1) в I полугодии 2009г. по сравнению с I полугодием 2008г. составил 85,2%, в июне 2009г. по сравнению с июнем 2008г. - 87,9%, по сравнению с маем 2009г. - 104,5%.

а вот интересно, Manufacturing sales и Индекс промышленного производства это одно и то же?
по моему так в последний входит добыча ископаемых, производство энергии и услуги, а в первый - нет (если я, конечно, опять чего-нибудь не упускаю)

Оборот розничной торговли в мае 2009г. составил 1167,5 млрд.рублей, что в товарной массе на 5,6% меньше, чем за соответствующий период предыдущего года, в январе-мае 2009г. - 5622,2 млрд.рублей и меньше на 2,2%.
