POSITION: Senior .NET Architects/Developers with Strong ArcObjects development background

STATUS: 1 year contract

LOCATION: Toronto/GTA

Summary:


Senior .NET Architects/Developers will be responsible for development of a Services Oriented GIS application. Developer will analyze requirements, develop use cases, participate in design and perform coding and unit testing of several modules of the product.

Must Have Skills:

* 5+ years software development experience

* 4+ years experience in developing applications using Microsoft Technologies (VB, C++, COM)

* Solid understanding of Object Oriented Design and development

* At least 1 year of core ArcObjects development (Extensions, Edit Events, Object Inspector, Versioned Geodatabases)

* 2+ years experience in developing data driven web based applications

* 2+ years experience with C# and ASP.NET application development using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET

* 2+ years experience developing applications with HTML/JavaScript

* 2+ years experience with XML, XSD, XSL

* 2+ years experience with Oracle/SQL Server (SQL, Stored Procedures)

Assets:

* Experience with developing Web Services

* Experience with developing ArcIMS applications using AXL, ArcGIS Server using .NET ADF

* In depth knowledge of Oracle and/or SQL server

* In depth knowledge of Windows 2003

Responsibilities:

Creating use cases

Architect Client/Server and Web Based GIS Solutions

Perform/Review Design

Development using C#, ASP.NET, SQL

Peer Code Review

Unit testing

Review test cases

Working with testers to resolve bugs
