We are currently seeking a highly motivated, self-driven, experienced Release Engineer. Reporting to the Release Engineering Manager, the Release Engineer works as part of a team, with responsibility for the successful automated deployment of our entire product suite. The Release Engineer is required to deliver automation solutions for software builds and deployments. Attention to detail is extremely important for this position. This team-based position interfaces closely with Software Development, Quality Assurance, Project Management and Site Operations to maintain and enhance our existing development processes. The position is exposed to all facets of the products, processes and hardware utilized to deliver them.

Responsibilities:

• Automate the deployment process; develop strategies and implement solutions to manage installations, upgrades, rollbacks, and backup/restore.
• Continually analyze the current build and deployment durations, success/failure rates and procedural overhead to evaluate possible optimizations including utilizing 3rd-party tools or developing in-house solutions.
• Manage and coordinate all QA, Staging and Production software product releases
• Maintain build environment
• Work closely with the Configuration Management Team to optimize processes
• Streamline, automate, and document build and release procedures
• Design and develop release tools to increase development productivity
• Define and enforce policies for releases to ensure the stability of the production environment
• Research technical issues and generate creative/innovative solutions
• Based on functional specifications, prepare detailed system design documents of client-side and server-side applications

Qualifications:
