From 2004 to 2007 I worked as PM in two small translation agencies (4-10 workers) in Barcelona on tasks including quoting, file management, TM management, contact and assignments to translators, and QA. But also I have come across with text of different matters and fields, such as legal documents, liabilities, marketing materials, etc.
I have a great experience on CAT tools, not only as user but as an expert solving CAT tool issues and helping streamlining processes to make them more effective using workflow managers, QA and CAT tools.
I would like to take this opportunity and be part of your pool of translators. My languages are Spanish, English and German. I am native Spanish and I have lived in the US for the past 6 years. I also have a basic level of French.
I have a lot of experience in handling many projects at the same time that have different format and sizes. I am used to work a lot in order to be online for the different time zones. Besides, I take care of all the aspects of each project; from quoting to the final delivery to the client. I love this job as it is very hectic.
I can deal with most of the Cat tools and programs that are needed and I learn new things easily.
I have worked remotely for 3 years at companies located abroad and it worked really well. I have fast Internet, Skype and all necessaty equipment to do this job.
