What's the job?
Writing Code. That sounds pretty simple but working on the software platform that powers our core banking operations is definitely not. You'll get to further develop and customize Temenos T24 to allow Coast Capital to help our employees and provide simple financial help to our members. You'll also get to play a role in sharing your T24 knowledge, helping to mentor the next generation of developers.
What you'll get to do:
Translate the business needs and requirements into actual designs, working closely with Business Analysts to provide technical expertise
Develop, code and test complex programs that will deliver quality, security and scalability
Create designs following processes and procedures within timelines and with no defects
Collaborate closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure the work moves towards the production stage
Complete the development life cycle via liaising with the Information Technology Group
Recommend improvements to existing T24 technical and business processes in order to meet requirements

Who are we looking for?
We're looking for a programmer with ninja like keyboarding skills who is similarly quick, flexible and formidable when solving problems with creative solutions. We need someone who is looking to use their skills for good, adding value and positively impacting the efficiency and effectiveness of the business with every fix and upgrade installed.
Experience with a wide variety of software languages, tools, databases and platforms in both UNIX and Window environments for a minimum of 7 - 9 years, specifically 3 - 5 years' experience with T24 R8+.
You proudly hang your University Degree in Computer Science or related field on your wall and you aren't done learning, you have the desire to know more.
You like working collaboratively and sharing your in-depth knowledge of customer accounts plus lending and teller modules.
You have experience performing unit testing and reviewing detailed test plans prepared by Quality Assurance.
And like a ninja, you are disciplined, focused and driven to deliver incredible work.
