Canada Day. Что, где, когда?

Первый раз за 10 лет проводим 1 июля в городе, а не на кемпинге. Посмотрел список мероприятий, но всё таки, что стоит посетить?
Ну и с Праздником всех!

Ну и с Праздником всех!

я лично пойду в боулинг играть. что я там на этих мероприятиях не видел. а вот шарик с семьёй покатать прямо посреди недели - это редко удаёццо. заодно будет повод откосить от ежегодного обязательного кормления комаров в толпе наблюдающих из года в год за фейерверками.

А на Сасамате сегодня с утра было 24С вода и ежегодный заплыв на 1-2-4 км.

Совершенно несогласен. Вода в озере теплее, песочек приятней, ехать ближе, детям удобней, родителям легче. Вайтклиф это такой типа закуток интилегента.

Yesterday was the first Canada Day which I was not excited about. And Bill C-24 is to blame for it. Canada Day did not feel like a celebration anymore. It felt as if a dream or an ideal was lost and gone forever. It felt sad.

In the evening, I went to see fireworks and looking at people around me, couldn't help but wonder what those second class citizens are cheering for? The newly gained opportunity to loose everything they have in this country they same way they could in the country of origin? To get deported from Canada or get lost in some other country without any help from Canadian authorities? It felt like a feast in time of plague.

I just hope it is still OK for a second class citizen not to get too patriotic on Canada Day.
