Не совсем так. Там конкурс 4 человека на место. Ему до нас дела не было. Когда на работе узнали, что оба ребенка зачислены, мне особо не верили поначалу. Обычное везение
How does the French Immersion program compare to the regular program?
Students enrolled in French Immersion study the same curriculum as students in the English language program. The only difference between the English and French Immersion programs is that the latter provides an immersion component in French language and an introduction to French culture.
Students in Early French Immersion do not receive any English language instruction until Grade 3. Thus, students with English as a second language should consider the choice of Early French Immersion carefully but experience shows that they can be very successful. Although there is no English language instruction until Grade 3, by the end of their elementary years students in Early French Immersion perform just as well in English as students in the English program.
French Immersion is not intended to be an enriched program in any way other than the language component. It is taught to the same standard as the English program and is available to all students regardless of their ability level.
